The G-1 MIL-J-7823D series of jackets were made around 1968-1972, and are the first to use the folded waistband exclusively. The jackets
are also the last contract that had only black labels. The switch from Conmar to Scovill zippers happened during this contract, too. This series of G-1 was
made in large numbers, so they're easy to find, with many in good condition.
