About This Jacket:
This jacket may have been the last contract that A. Pritzker & Sons had with the US Navy
for G-1 jackets. The contract is hard to find, as there weren't too many made, and it's one of three 7823 (AER) jackets by Pritzker that
I've seen. The contract is noted for having rounded or even straight pocket flaps, where they used to be angled with three points on earlier Pritzker 55J14 G-1s. The rest of the jacket
is standard for Pritzker, and this one even has the narrow back with the front leather wrapped around past the underarms. Note the
tight sleeves and large wind flap. I've always liked the leather that Pritzker made their jackets with, as the wear shows much
character to the hide.
