About This Jacket:

This is another jacket by Flying Equipment Co. of Chicago, IL. The jacket is most likely a civilian or PX production model, as the contract number isn't real. The label was moved at some point, too. The materials are identical to vintage 55J14 G-1 jackets, and they did have one 55J14 contract. This jacket is in nearly brand new condition, with little wear on any of the parts. The jacket came with four patches, but they are newer, so I removed three of them. Some glue will be hard to remove, but the leather is fine. There's no size tag, but the jacket much like originals in size 46, thought it's a 44. The VMF-214 'Black Sheep' patch may be old, and is made of thick thread. Overall, this is a superb G-1 jacket.
