About This Jacket:
This jacket is a nice repro of a 1950's G-1, and has been loosely copied from a Cagleco G-1. The jacket
is made with heavy goatskin and is seal brown. The lining has a nice reddish color, much like Cagleco originals. The mouton is thick and a
combination of nappy and straight fur, as original jackets of the era look. The knits are excellent, though the cuffs are a little on the long side.
The zipper is a Talon, quite rare for a 1950's Navy jacket, which would most likely be a Conmar. The design is similar to Cagleco but there
are some strong differences, such as pocket placement, shoulder size (Caglecos have small shoulders) and the sleeve ends are wider than
originals. The label is almost identical to a Cagleco, and uses one of their contract numbers.
