About This Jacket:
This jacket is a wonderful example from 1960. The condition is immaculate, with only evidence
of a patch on the chest as a mark of usage. It was most likely never worn. The leather, very dark mouton, lining, and knits are in great
shape. The leather is light and has a very even color. Note that the pocket flaps are angled, where most makers would have had a
rounded pocket flap at this point in time. The lining is a strong blue-ish color, highly unusual for a Navy jacket. The zipper puller is painted, a very little has come off.
The jacket has a strong smell as if it had just come out of the factory. The Breier (from Amsterdam, NY State) jackets are quite rare,
so finding an example this nice is a treat.
