About This Jacket:

This jacket is one of the Avirex high-end reproductions they made around 1992. The jacket is a copy of a Cagleco G-1 which Jeff Clyman had, with identical patches. The jacket is close to an original in design and details, but also different than most. It has a label which states both M-422a and G-1. The leather is nice and has nice graining, and it's heavy. The mouton is rather dark, like some Cagleco jackets. The knits are also close to originals from the 1950's. The patches are very well made repro. As a size 44 jacket, it's some what small, and the sleeves are long for the body.
