About This Jacket:
This jacket is a beautiful example from Monarch, and appears to be the first Navy contract from
WWII after they made the initial M-422 contract (extremely rare). The condition of this jacket is wonderful, with very little wear evident,
and only a name tag was sewn on it. The size tag under the label is a seldom-surviving detail. Monarch also made an AN-J-3A during
WWII. The details unique to Monarch are the wind flap being one inch short on the bottom, the lining having a seam down the middle of the
back, and leather that shows much wear to the surface, though this jacket hasn't been worn to that point.
