About This Jacket:
This jacket is a fantastic example of a larger AN-6552, and the condition is quite good. The design is
very classy and well crafted, having tight-stitched pocket flap corners. The size feels closer to a 48, with very long sleeves, and the waistband
seems to have been made without much elasticity. The jacket has some wear, but is in a very desirable condition. The patch is actually from the
USAAF, the 585th Bombardment Squadron, which flew B-26 and A-26 aircraft from England, France, and then Germany, during WWII. Note the
blackened Conmar zipper, common for the AN series of jackets later in the war.
