About This Jacket:
This Aero reproduction of an AN-6552 is well done. The leather is very close to WWII Navy goatskin
in texture and color. It also shows wear in a similar manner. The jacket was treated with hot water technique to add wrinkles to it.
The overall fit is also close to WWII jackets, though the body is somewhat short, like L.W. Foster jackets. I added the U.S. stencil
to the collar, in the same style as Willis and Geiger. The waistband is vintage from the 1950's, so the rib-rack design is different than
most from WWII, though the Monarch M-422 waistband is similar. A vintage Talon zipper has been used.
