About This Jacket:

This is an example of a late 1960's MIL-J-8279D MA-1. The jacket has materials of the same quality of the early 1960's, but the design is different and the zippers are Scovill, which is Conmar Zippers with a new name, which happened around 1968. The Sportsmasters jackets are noted for their linear vertical stitch pattern on the windflap. As a Large, it's about the same as a size 42.
