Home | USAAF/USAF Jackets | B-7
B-7 parka-style jackets were commonly seen in the Artic regions of USAAF operations, and also in cold areas
of the U.S., on bases like Great Falls, Montana. These are very large jackets, and they were never dyed to a brown color,
most likely as form of camouflage for snow. It appears that only Aero Leather Clothing Co. made these jackets, of several
contracts. They were standardized in 1941 and made for about one year, eventually being replaced by the B-9 parka.
