About This Jacket:
This is a well worn but still nice example of a B-3. This jacket was made by Rough Wear, a company
which made a massive amount of jackets in WWII. The contract dates to 1942, and the jacket exhibits details which would be from that period,
like darker sheepskin, while earlier jackets had a more reddish tone. The contrasting horsehide trim looks great on the sheepskin. The Crown
zipper is somewhat rare for Rough Wear jackets, which usually had Talons. |
