About This Jacket:
This jacket is a well worn B-3 of the later design. The jacket is extremely solid, though it's been
through an AAF depot and has had a number of details worked on (I believe that the wind flap sheepskin was removed). The jacket is seal brown, with russet trim that's been over-dyed
seal brown. There are a number of areas which show how companies at the time spliced sheepskin (note the interior shot) and then
there are a number of patches that covered tears. The zipper is replaced, and the cuffs have possibly been replaced (note that one
has only a single line of stitching). For all the work the jacket has had, it's still beautiful and looks great, and the sheepskin is soft
and flexible. Note the differences with this HLB B-3, and the other HLB of the earlier design.
