About This Jacket:
This B-3 is a house version by Eastman and has seal brown horsehide facings on seal brown chrome-tanned
sheepskin. The jacket is exceptionally well made, with each panel of sheepskin having correct length of fur, and the overall cut looks extremely close to
originals in photos. The jacket fits about the same as an original 46, and is just right on me. The color is consistent with the seal brown polyacrylate
lacquer used on jackets from the 1942-1943 period, and some are seen with seal, and some with russet facings. I added the USAAF shoulder stencil
which is made by Real McCoy's New Zealand, as well as a WWII brass Talon slider. |
