About This Jacket:

This B-15B MOD by Gardner Corp. is a super rare jacket. They seem to be the most commonly made B-15Bs (not sure if any other company made them) and they were made with Prentice zippers, another detail common only to this contract. The jacket has been modified so that the fur collar has been removed, and a knit collar added. The cuffs were replaced at some point. The nylon is of an early olive color, and areas have been bleached to a reddish color, common on some early USAF nylon jackets. The main Prentice zipper has been replaced with a heavy Crown zipper. Note the excellent patch. The jacket was owned by a WWII aircrewman who was captured by the Japanese in WWII.
