The B-15B series appears to have been produced for a short period after WWII - there aren't a great number left. The jackets are the first to have a nylon shell, of OD green, as well as a more complex sleeve pocket which has a zippered compartment. The B-15B series corresponds with the L-2 series of jackets. This is the last series to have an offset zipper. One contract that The Gardner Corp. produced had Prentice zippers, which are extremely rare on any other jacket contracts, and were rather weak. Great Lakes also had a contract for the B-15B.
