About This Jacket:

This jacket is a copy of the jacket worn by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape, by Real McCoys New Zealand (RMNZ). The jacket is a Rough Wear copy, though the label really states Real McQueen and has a faked contract number and city. The overall appearance of the jacket is amazing, with the best leather I've ever seen on a repro. The horsehide is drum rolled and shows wear quite easily, with beautiful wrinkling and natural striations that resulted from the hot water techinque that I applied to it. The details are also fantastic, as the photos will show. Of note, I replaced the Talon with a Conmar zipper, since the teeth were so yellowish.
