About This Jacket:

This jacket is interesting. I believe that the maker label would be the no-name 27753 contract, as all the details are identical to these jackets. It was possibly refitted with a new lining and knits, with reproduction Aero label added to it. The details of the jacket are not similar to Aero, but it would have been easy to add a label as a space-filler. The leather is consistent with the 27753 contract- russet brown, somewhat heavy with surface wear showing easily. The collar is relatively large, too. The Crown zipper is a replacement, and dates to the late 1940's.
