About This Jacket:
This jacket is a great example by Poughkeepsie Leather Coat Co. of New York. The leather
condition is quite nice, and one can see that Poughkeepsie commonly used rather thin leather, which the others on this site exhibit.
The thread used is a nice khaki color, in both exposed and unexposed areas (not too much fading). Like Aero jackets, the pockets
are quite angular. The patch is the AAF 2nd Photo Mapping squadron, which operated in Alaska and the South Pacific during WWII.
