About This Jacket:
This is another nice example of a Monarch A-2. The company was based in Milwaukee, WI, and
they had a number of unique details to their design. The collar points are rather long, and the seam between the front and back leather
join under the epaulette, rather than behind, as is often the case. The sleeves are inset by a large amount, too. Note that this jacket has
a brown painted triple-marked Talon, as it seems most Monarchs did. The leather has a nice russet shade, and is a strong
horsehide.
