About This Jacket:

This is one fantastic example of a Monarch contract A-2. This one has all original parts and appears to have been lightly worn, as the knits are complete with only a couple small holes and the zipper looks to be very solid. This is a late contract, and at this point the military required zippers to have paint, to stop reflection. The lining is also in great shape, especially around the collar seam. The overall design of the jacket has a great square look to the shoulders, and the collar tips are long, a common detail of Monarch jackets.
