About This Jacket:
This is a Dubow 27798 contract A-2. The jacket is well worn and part of a grouping of
Sargeant Leonard Dreeson. He was a communication's specialist in the AAF, and remained Stateside to train new airmen in
communications. The leather is somewhat of a dark russet compared to average 27798s, but other shades of brown are noted
among this contract. The epaulettes are quite wide, with large box stitching. Dreeson had teh cuffs replaced while in the AAF.
Note that the label looses the yellow typeface vertical stitching rather easily. The two tones of brown of the zipper tape have
been seen before.
