This jacket is most likely an Aero pre-WWII 1940 contract, with the number 40-3785-P. The details of the jacket are identical to Aero's design, and the leather and lining color match. The Talon zipper has a pre-WWII version slider. The jacket has a collar stand, which is seen on 1938 and 1940 contract A-2s by Aero. The leather is quite solid and dense, and in some areas appears to be brand new, though the jacket has seen much use. The knits have been attacked by moths, so that they're rather severely damaged. The Talon zipper is in excellent condition. The jacket is very close to common size 44 jackets of WWII.
