The N-1 deck jackets were used by Navy personnel from WWII through the early 1960s, at which time new versions were created. The
jackets were fairly consistant in design, and had a heavy outer shell with an Alpaca lining. There is no mention of the contractors on the labels,
and dating the jackets can be difficult. These were very popular with ships' crews.
