About This Jacket:
This M-445A by Fried, Ostermann is about a size 42 and in very solid condition. The jacket is
used, but the sheepskin is still in soft and essentially unbroken condition, where many of these would develope cracks and large
separations over time. The goatskin that Ostermann used in their jackets is known for being very thick and of a great finish, and
this jacket is typical of that trait. The shoulders are rather tight, also typical of Ostermann. The design pattern is of the first that
M-445s are seen to use, and some M-445As have the newer pattern known to be used on M-445Bs, but this one is the earlier
type. The Talon zipper is also of the kind mostly seen on Ostermann jackets, a triple-marked Talon.
Compare this jacket with the size
48 of the same contract--there are many differences in overall shape, while details are the same.
