About This Jacket:
This jacket looks to be pristine and very well kept for a jacket that's over 60 years old. The design
of the jacket is of the first and more simple, with diamond sleeve patches, a wind flap of sheepskin, a full length zipper, no throat latch, one-piece
gusset, and no goatskin waist section. As a size 48, the body is more like a 46, but the sleeves are tremendously long. Note the production tag
in the pocket. The thread is either brown or OD green in some areas. The sheepskin has been spliced and stitched to be strong throughout the
jacket, a common sight with WWII jackets. The goatskin is very heavy, a trait of Ostermann jackets.
