About This Jacket:
Eastman has designed their M-422A off the Gordon & Ferguson jackets, as does Real McCoy's Japan.
The ELC jacket has excellent leather, though a bit stiff, and the other elements are quite good. The detail that's a bit dffierent than originals is the back,
which is wider, more like a modern G-1. The seam between front and back leather on original M-422as would be about 5
inches beyond the underarm towards the back, where the ELC has the seam directly under the arm, like modern G-1 jackets. Also, the
shoulder/bi-swing pleat gap is rather large, but not unheard of. Other details like the pocket design, collar shape, and throat latch are very close to originals.
