The M-422 series is the first of this body shape, and may date to 1940. There are only two known makers, Willis and Geiger,
and Monarch. I've seen photos of two Monarchs, while the Willis and Geiger jackets are more easily found. The W&G jackets are known
for having very short sleeves and long bodies. These were quickly superceded by the M-422A series.
