Home | U.S. Navy Jackets | 37-J-1
The cloth Navy jacket often refered to as a 37-J-1 was made before WWII, and can be seen in period photos. These jackets didn't survive
over time and only a small number are still around. Several companies have made reproductions of them, such as Willis & Geiger, Buzz Rickson, and
Real McCoy's Japan. Aero appears to be one original contractor. From the photos I've seen, there were two makers with unique pocket placement, one
with the pockets close to the zipper, and one with them farther away.
