About This Vest:

This is a pre-WWII USAAF wool knit vest, in immaculate condition. The Goodwear Knitting Mills vests were made with an interesting Waldes-Kover zipper which had a cloth cover over the teeth. These vests appear to be rather small for their size, and may have been made that way to be tight for use over a flight suit or under an A-2 or other jackets. These vests are extremely rare to find, and one in this condition is a treat to see. It appears as though it was hardly used.
