About These Trousers:

These USAF pants are from the 1954-1958 timeframe, and are in excellent condition. The pants are made of the same materials seen on B-15D and MA-1 jackets, and they're quite warm. The zippers are heavy Conmars in black paint, in excellent condition. They're easy to get on and off. The knit cuffs which end the legs are interesting, because the weave is larger than period jacket cuffs. Note that the small Conmar zippers are of two types - the older kind with a round hole in the pull tab, and the newer with the half-circle. This is very interesting for a design this late in the 1950's.
