About This Helmet:

This is a 1944 contract cloth helmet, for warmer weather. AN stood for Army-Navy, and at this point both Forces were sharing some designs, though this helmet is exclusive to the USAAF. The condition is quite good, and the USAAF stamps are great to see so clearly. For size Large, it's very difficult for me to get it on my head, and would technically be too small.
