The N-2 series began after WWII as a short Heavy Zone jacket. The first series was made of OD green nylon, while the second series,
the N-2A, had the classic blue USAF color. These jackets are heavy and were meant to cover an L-2 or B-15 jacket. Note that
the outer pockets may be accessed through the lining as well, so that one can enter pockets of a jacket underneath it, while still
being able to store items in the main pockets. Early versions of the N-2A had a yellowish colored fox fur, while later examples
had grey colored fur.
