About This Jacket:

The B-6 design was standardized in 1939, yet for some reason they weren't a commonly seen jacket like A-2s or B-3s. This Real McCoy's B-6 is based on an Aero 1943 contract B-6. The jacket is superbly made, and the sheepskin has a very convincing look compared to WWII sheepskin. I trimmed the cut edges of fur, as many originals have short fur there. The jacket fits perfectly as a size 46 and is comparable to original size 46s. One detail which Aero's later wartime designs are known for are waist adjustors made as a belt, rather than the more commonly seen zipper slots. The B-6 design is very comfortable and less bulky than the B-3 design, and the sheepskin is 1/4 length, where B-3s are heavier with 3/4 inch. The name tag is by BGBDesign.
