The B-15D series of jackets began some time around 1953, and were the first series to be made with sage green as the color. The
jackets were the last of the B-15 series, and after a number of jackets were modified by removing the collar, the MA-1 series replaced it.
The B-15D series were made by a number of contractors, and there are some interesting differences in the materials and design.
