The B-15 series of jackets started in late WWII, and progressed through the 1950's. The first of these is the B-15, which replaced the B-10. The jacket had several new features, while removing others. The collar was much larger, the pockets were made into an internal slash design, there were now two lining pockets, a thin band of nylon was sewn along the inner waistband seam, the zipper and full-length wind flap were offset to the right, and a small pen holder was attached to the sleeve. Gone are the epaulettes, gussets and patch pockets of the B-10.
