This jacket is a return for sizing. The jacket is a superb reproduction of what Star Sportswear created for the Army Air Forces in 1942. The leather is Italian veg-tanned horsehide, which is truly beautiful in finish and weight. The lining is an exact copy of what Star used, and other details in this jacket are identical to typical Star A-2 original jackets.

The jacket has been tried on several times, but not worn. The size of the jacket is just a little smaller than what John usually wears, though it's close. Someone who is a bit more slender than John would do well with this jacket.

The zipper is a great reproduction M-42 Talon, and the slider is an original WWII nickel slider, from the 1941 production era. The snaps in the pockets are vintage snaps from United-Car, identical to what Stars would have been made with.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'8" to 6' with a chest of 40.5-42", and a weight of about 170-195 pounds.
