This jacket is a return from a customer, who got a second better fitting jacket. This jacket has been tried on several times, but it hasn't been worn in any other manner. The jacket is almost a basic, stock size 40, but the shoulders are a little wider than most originals.

The Shinki horsehide is our russet veg-tanned, semi-aniline finish format. The hides have a dense feel, but the jacket is comfortable, and over time, the high points will wear down to a slightly lighter shade of russet. The lining is the correct rust cotton, and the knits are identical to those of this contract.

Rough Wear A-2s are comfortable, and our pattern is carefully drafted from our experience with a good number of originals which we've been able to handle (we've taken apart two originals). The Rough Wear pattern is quite unique in comparison with other A-2 contractors, and is one of our favorite jackets.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'7" to 5'9" with a chest of 39-40.5", and a weight of about 155-170 pounds.
