This jacket was a return for corrected sizing. The jacket is new, was just made, and is now available. The jacket is shown being worn by John's nephew, who is 15 years old, and 6'3" tall (190.5cm) - not the intended customer, but someone who could at least get the jacket on whom he knows. The jacket is slender and a little long, but will look great on a person with the best related dimensions. An ideal person would be about 5'8" to 5'9" (173cm to 175cm) and have a 36-38" (92cm to 96.5cm) chest.

The jacket is made with two vintage WWII original parts. First, the zipper is an original NOS M-39 triple-marked Talon, and second, the pocket snaps are original WWII United-Carr ball stud snaps. These both work extremely well, and are fun details to have on a modern reproduction. The leather is Shinki russet horsehide, and will get more and more grainy as the jacket is worn.

We have seen several originals that have M-39 Talons, and some that have Crown zippers. Both are correct for this rare contract.
