This Rough Wear 27752 pattern is a new edition for us, as it's based on a size 44 that we recently took apart and patterned. The original was in rough condition, but all the parts were present, and copying each panel and part led to an accurate rendition of this iconic A-2.

The jacket is made with seal brown aniline cowhide, and the leather is truly stunning. Lots of natural grain, and some wear creases from about ten hours of use. The lining it totally clean, and the knits are still very stiff and firm. The zipper is a reproduction WWII Talon, and the thread is a commonly seen light OD green that this contract often came with.

The pattern is comfortable for someone in the right size, and it looks exactly as a Rough Wear should. The sleees are a tiny bit more slender than our previous pattern.
