This jacket is a reproduction of Rough Wear's 23380 contract. We found an amazing cowhide, which is extremely similar to what Rough Wear generally used in their A-2 jackets. ELC tested an original Rough Wear 23380 and it had bovine DNA, so this is an excellent contract to use have cowhide today.

The finish is aniline, and and the leather is chrome tanned. It's dense but heavy leather, and the natural grain is what most like when it comes to copying 1940s leather. The other details of this jacket are accurate to Rough Wear 23380 jackets, from the thread color to the Talon zipper.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'10" to 6'1" with a chest of 42-44", and a weight of about 185-210 pounds.
