Co. MIL-J-7823 G-1 flight jacket available. This jacket is in wonderful condition, very wearable, and the goatskin is quite dense and clean. The jacket never had any patches or name tags applied, and the knit and lining parts are very solid, too. The lining is great, except for two holes near the inner pocket, but we backed the fabric, so it's ready for plenty of use. The knits are original, and solid, with one hole in the waistband darned by us, along with three small holes on the cuffs. The knits were too good to replace. The original mouton had half of the fur missing, so we replaced it with identical shade vintage mouton. The vintage mouton we use has the luster often seen in mint originals from this period. The original Conmar was missing several teeth, so we replaced that zipper with a Conmar in superb condition. These Monarch G-1s are quite rare, as their contract was not as voluminous as other makers of the period (like Cagleco or L.W. Foster). Then, size 46 jackets are even more rare, along with being in very wearable condition.
