We have developed a pattern of the 1930s cossack style. This is based on many photographs of about 15 vintage jackets that we've collected, and the most common-sense design is what we've chosen. This jacket is quite comfortable, and the simple design is definitely fun and interesting.

The leather is a softer veg-tanned horsehide by Horween, in seal brown aniline finish. This just a test model, and leathers of more common choice from the period will be used (such as capeskin, deerskin, and goatskin). But, this horsehide is just fantastic, and extremely comfortable.

The lining is an amazing rayon by Carolina Herrera, and we purchased a small amount. The thread is 100% cotton, and the buttons are 3/4" horn.

This jacket has about four hours of very light wear in it, and will make a superb jacket right out of the box.

This jacket will ideally fit a person who is 5'11" to 6'2", with a chest circumference of 42-44", and weight of 190-215 pounds.
