This jacket was a test we made back in June, with the main factor being the color of the sheepskin. This is an excellent darker shade of seal as many original Aero B-6 jacket exhibit. The jacket is unused and ready to go, and comfortable, but athletic in shape. We used four original Aeros to derive our pattern from, and they look fantastic.

The sheepskin is a superb weight with a golden fur color we really like. It's easy to wear, but definitely warm, and with the hip adjustment zippers, it has a snug fit in the lower torso. The back pleats make driving comfortable.

Some original Aeros have the silver North & Judd center bar buckle, and some have a black faux roller buckle type. We've chosen the black model on this one, but we have both formats. The thread is a common light OD#3, which many original Aeros have, along with dark brown cotton thread. And, a good percentage of Aeros had Kwik zippers, along with Talons and Crowns. We have a healthy supply of vintage Kwik sliders and Kwik chains.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'10" to 6'2", with a chest of 41" to 43", and a weight of about 180-210 pounds.
