Type B-6 jacket. This jacket was made as a test of our sheepskin machines, which we've applied new motors to. We did this prior to making a customer jacket, and this test ensured they worked as they should (suprebly!). The sheepskin is very comfortable, and will develop grain as originals do, and it isn't as stiff in the leather as two other choices of sheepskin that we offer. Some earlier Aero B-6s had the hanger chain applied to the back panel as this one has. Also seen on some Aeros are blackened brass buckles, and our buckles are identical to originals. Most Aeros have russet horsehide trim, and we chose that for this jacket. Some have seal, but jackets made with seal trim are in the minority. The collar belts are a very dense 6oz. latigo. This sheepskin is a stock format the tannery offers, which shows a reddish base below the seal brown finish. That reddish base can be seen in some of the cut edges, whereas our custom-tanned hides won't have that in the future. We used vintage Crown zippers on the hip adjustments. For the moth treatment label, we've seen several labels on originals (depending on the tannery Aero used), and we've seen this particular Falo brand label on a few original Aeros.
