This jacket is a sizing return, and is available now. It's in new condition, and is made with amazing Horween horsehide we've recently been able to acquire. This horsehide looks strikingly similar to vintage WWII horsehide, and has a dense weight.

The Aero pattern is common-sense, and looks great worn. Over time, this particular format of Horween horsehide will look painfully close to old leather as the surface develops scrapes and fading on high points. The knits are very robust wool, and the color is like some original Aeros that we've handled that have a darker, not as bright shade of reddish brown. There are originals with bright red knits and some that have this shade.

A small number of original Aeros of the 18775 contract were made with Kwik zippers, which is why this jacket has one. They're easy zippers to use and are made with very strong brass that has nickel plating.

The jacket would ideally fit someone in the range of 5'10" to 6'1", with a chest of 41" to 43", and a weight of about 185-205 pounds. The jacket is shown with a wearer who is 6 feet tall with a 41.5" chest, and it has a comfortable fit.
