This ajcket is a test model of our own design of the Navy's 37J1 jacket. These were made in the late 1930s, and in smaller numbers than later WWII contracts. They were made with thinner capeskin, often dark brown in color, and with many different configurations of pockets. This jacket has about three hours of wear at this point.

The jacket is made with a very soft and light-weight capeskin. This has a mottled dark brown shade. The jacket is extremely comfortable, and looks great, too. This jacket is only a test model, and our production model will look different.

This design has six buttons on the front, as some photos of Naval jackets show from that period. Some also have five, but we like six.

This jacket will ideally fit a person who is 5'11" to 6'1", with a chest circumference of 42-44", and weight of 195-210 pounds.
